Rigid PCB cushion pad is specially designed for the purpose of hot lamination buffering during the process of Rigid PCB (rigid printed circuit board). It is of the red rigid cushion press pad which can work perfectly in replacing hot press kraft paper and can greatly improve dimensional safety and stability for rigid PCB (printed circuit board) production. It features outstanding lamination comprehensive performance and high stability, which can greatly improve the yield and efficiency in the process of rigid PCB (printed circuit board) production process.

There are two types of rigid PCB cushion pads defined as per their working postion. One is used at very top or very bottom of the total PCB lamination sheet package. We call it top PCB cushion pad or bottom PCB cushion pad. Another type is used as middle layer cushion pad which is usually thinner than top or bottom pad. The middle layer cushion pad is normally 1.5-2.0mm thick. And the thickness of top PCB cushion pad or bottom PCB cushion pad is in the range of 4.0mm-6.5mm.   

 

The cushion pad (also named as press pad/cushion mat/buffering pad/hot press cushion) for PCB lamination purpose is very suitable for physical buffering operations in the middle layer and manual operations for multiple sheet replacements. It is also suitable for automated PCB laminating operations and can replace multiple sheets of hot press Kraft paper with one single pad which can greatly save the production material cost by at least 20%.
